-> Liquid Information

There are too many words for use to be able to deal effectively in our information environments with traditional tools, methods and attitudes - i.e. reading straight through or skimming the text.
Automated systems such as automatic outline generation can be useful but ultimately it’s:
a) about **getting information into our heads **- the right and relevant information - and
b) not getting stuck in, or lost in, non-relevant information.

We are not interested in building interactive text just for fun. The work is intended to help us solve problems.

[…]
We get much of our words from the web (there are lot of web pages out there, Google indexes more than 4.2 billion - BBC). This is why it’s important to improve the way we interact with the words on the web.

In pratica cos’e’?

Build a server based intermediary (Doug’s term) which can serve web pages (first our own, then more and more pages) and add a little menu on key words which will allow the user to point to a word, select a command from the menu and have the command execute on the word (or phrase).
